Local leaders endorse Tamara Kronis to take action on public safety and affordability.

Nanaimo, BC — Today, Tamara Kronis officially launched her campaign for the Conservative Party of Canada (CPC) nomination in the Nanaimo-Ladysmith electoral district.

In the last election, Tamara came within 1,200 votes of turning the riding blue for the first time in nearly two decades. 

“In the next federal election, under the leadership of Pierre Poilievre, we are going to get the job done. The NDP have seriously failed this community. It’s time for change,” says Kronis. 

Tamara’s nomination has been endorsed by dozens of local leaders, including former NDP supporters, lifelong Conservatives, and current and former elected officials at all levels of government. 

“I have witnessed Tamara's tireless desire to improve our community first-hand,” commented Sheryl Armstrong. “As our next Member of Parliament and champion in Ottawa, Tamara will be an extraordinary asset to the people of Nanaimo-Ladysmith. We need strong leadership and committed partners at all levels of government to make our community safer and more affordable—I know Tamara is up to the job.”

There is no plan to help, nothing on offer except more of the same from the NDP and Justin Trudeau. It’s time for change.” says Kronis.
